Get up close to the breathtaking scenery of Tierra del Fuego National Park on this excursion, where hiking, canoeing, and spectacular landscapes await you.
You’ll be picked up from your hotel in the morning before heading towards Tierra del Fuego National Park. Along the way, you’ll follow the beautiful coastal road by the Beagle Channel, with views of the sea and the surrounding mountains. Upon arrival at the entrance to the park, you’ll make a short stop at the station of the iconic End of the World Train, where you’ll have the chance to admire the historic railway before your day’s adventure really begins.
Together with your guide, you’ll set off on a hike through the sub-Antarctic forest, where the distinctive southern beech trees cover the mountain slopes all the way down to the coast. As you walk, you’ll experience the untouched wilderness that makes this one of Argentina’s most spectacular national parks.
After your walk, enjoy an included lunch served inside a heated dome with panoramic views of the idyllic surroundings. The journey will then continue to Lake Acigami, where the next part of your adventure begins. Before heading onto the water, you’ll be provided with rubber boots, waterproof overtrousers, and a life jacket. You’ll then step into an inflatable canoe and glide silently down the Lapataia River, which winds its way through peaceful, unspoilt landscapes before reaching Lapataia Bay, where the river flows into the Beagle Channel.
