Welcome to one of Port Douglas’ most legendary boutique hotels: The Peninsula.

Inside, you’re greeted by 34 suites appointed in light, muted colours that somehow seem almost cooling in the tropical heat. All suites have a separate bedroom and a large lounge area. They also all have their own balcony or terrace as well as their own mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities and hob. Naturally, there is also free Wi-Fi.

The hotel also offers a pool and day spa as well as its own restaurant with a view of Four Mile Beach.

Right outside the hotel, you have Four Mile Beach. You literally have to walk across the road, and the beach is there. In fact, the hotel probably enjoys one of the best locations in the entire town. Everything is close by.

Breakfast is included in the price if you upgrade to the Peninsula. The hotel is a so-called “adult only” hotel – i.e. there are no children under the age of 18.

Please note that the hotel will be closed from 14 September 2026 to 14 February 2027 while the roof is being replaced.
