If you feel like spoiling yourself a little bit – without it having to cost a fortune – you might consider upgrading to the Vibe Hotel.
The hotel is located south of Hyde Park and close to multicultural Oxford Street and the Darlinghurst area, where you’ll find a wide selection of restaurants and cafés. The shops here are a fantastic mix of vintage and up-coming local designers, and the music and theatre scene is both creative and innovative. The area was once part of the city’s red light district, but that is no longer the case. It’s totally hip here!
The hotel has 198 rooms, all with spacious, stylish interiors in muted colours. All rooms have air conditioning, a minibar, a safe, a flatscreen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, an ironing board and iron, and free Wi-Fi.
It’s not the world’s largest pool you’ll find at the hotel, but it’s big enough for you to cool off after a hot day of sightseeing. On the hotel’s ground floor, you’ll find a restaurant/bar, which is open all day.
