Enjoy the enchanting Wintjiri Wiru drone show beneath the open sky, where the ancient stories of the Anangu people come to life as day draws to a close over Australia’s Red Centre.
You’ll be collected from your hotel in Yulara and driven the short distance out into the desert. From there, you’ll follow a walkway through the landscape to the open-air desert theatre, perched on top of a sand dune with spectacular views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta.
Take your seat in the open-air theatre and enjoy views of Uluru in the last light of day as twilight slowly descends over the desert. You’ll be given a small hamper containing a selection of Australian cheeses and dessert, along with premium Australian wine, while you wait for the evening’s show to begin.
As darkness falls, a chapter from the ancient Mala story of the Anangu people comes to life in the sky and across the landscape around you. Hundreds of choreographed drones, laser lights, and projections combine in a modern interpretation of a story passed down through generations. As you watch, you’ll listen to traditional singing and storytelling in the local Pitjantjatjara language.
After the approximately 20-minute show, you’ll be driven back to your hotel in Yulara.
