Experience a unique blend of tradition and city life as you sail out onto Tokyo Bay aboard a classic yakatabune – a traditional Japanese houseboat with tatami flooring and an atmosphere that evokes the elegance of the Heian and Edo periods.  

Make your own way to Tokyo Bay, where the traditional yakatabune awaits to take you on a scenic and atmospheric cruise. As the boat glides gently across the bay, sit back and admire the views of Rainbow Bridge and the striking skyline of Odaiba. The glassy water and the city’s glittering façades create a beautiful and captivating backdrop to this memorable experience.  

During the cruise, you’ll also be invited to take part in an authentic Japanese tea ceremony, performed by an experienced tea master who demonstrates this ancient art form with grace and precision. At the same time, you can enjoy the evocative sounds of a live shamisen performance – a traditional Japanese string instrument that brings both atmosphere and history to life. A selection of non-alcoholic drinks will also be served for you to enjoy at your leisure, as you relax and soak up the tranquil surroundings.  

The tour will end back at the quay, where you can reflect on a different way of experiencing Tokyo from the water, with traditions, music, and the pulse of city life as your backdrop.
