Just a few minutes on foot from the Rushaga gate to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the atmospheric Gorilla Safari Lodge sits on a green mountainside. The lodge’s location on a slope gives it a fantastic view of the forest and its mountains.

The lodge consists of 16 spacious cottages, putting you in a perfect frame to relax after an exciting day of gorilla tracking. All the cottages have their own bathroom and private balcony featuring a fantastic view of the untouched tropical rainforest.

In the largest cottage, you can find the lodge restaurant and bar with the lounge area. Here, you can enjoy a well-earned bit of dinner while you think back on your eventful day in the forest. You can also treat yourself to a massage or take a seat out by the small fire site with a view of the forest.
