Just outside Queen Elizabeth National Park, you’ll find the charming Marafiki Safari Lodge, with a stunning view over Lake George. 

The lodge comprises both cabins and tents, each attractively furnished with their own bathroom and veranda. Only local materials have been used in the lodge’s construction, and it was built by local craftsmen, ensuring that the income benefits the local communities in the area. 

The pool is set on a timber deck extending from the lawn and offers sun loungers and a lovely view. In the evenings, a fire is lit, and with a local beer in hand, you can share stories from that day’s safari. 

There is Wi-Fi available in the common areas, but we also recommend simply relaxing with a good book in the cosy lounge area!
