Would you love to experience the Canadian Rockies, Vancouver, and the charming capital of Vancouver Island, Victoria – without having to drive yourself? Then this tour is the perfect choice. Everything is organised for you, so you can sit back, relax, and let the experiences come to you.
Your journey begins in the western city of Calgary, where you’ll spend the first night and have time to settle in after your long flight. After a morning exploring the city, your guide will pick you up and the adventure continues towards the Canadian Rocky Mountains – also known as the Canadian Rockies.
Over the following days, you’ll be staying in the cosy mountain town of Banff, surrounded by some of the country’s most stunning natural scenery. Here, you’ll experience breathtaking mountain landscapes and enjoy an excursion to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, where magnificent panoramic views stretch out in every direction.
From Banff, the tour continues to the world-famous Lake Louise, whose distinctive turquoise waters and surrounding mountain peaks have made it one of the most photographed places in Canada. You’ll spend the night in the nearby village of Lake Louise.
Following the iconic 230 km mountain road, Icefields Parkway, your adventure takes you towards another highlight: Jasper National Park. Icefields Parkway is considered one of the most scenic drives in the world, leading you through a landscape shaped by glaciers, waterfalls, lakes, and dramatic mountain ranges. Along the way, you’ll visit the Athabasca Glacier, where a specially equipped vehicle takes you right out onto the ice itself. Later, the Columbia Icefield Skywalk awaits – a glass walkway extending out over Sunwapta Valley, offering a spectacular view some 280 metres down into the valley below.
Jasper National Park is renowned for its magnificent scenery and rich wildlife. Here, you’ll have time to explore the area at your own pace before joining an evening safari through the park. Keep an eye on the forest edges and open meadows – you might catch a glimpse of elk, mountain goats, eagles, or even bears along the way.
From Jasper, you’ll be transferred to Edmonton International Airport, where you’ll catch your flight to the Pacific gem of Canada – the vibrant city of Vancouver.
Vancouver awaits, giving you time to explore at your own pace with easy access to the city’s exciting neighbourhoods on a hop-on hop-off bus. You can also choose to join an optional excursion to the exhilarating Capilano Suspension Bridge.
Your adventure draws to a close on Vancouver Island, in the capital of British Columbia, Victoria. Here, you’ll have free time to stroll through the charming streets, enjoy a classic afternoon tea, or join one of the city’s top attractions – a whale-watching boat trip in search of humpback whales and orcas. Alternatively, a visit to the world-famous Butchart Gardens might tempt you.
Travel between destinations takes place in small, international groups accompanied by a local guide, combining the region’s main attractions with fascinating stories and hidden gems. With sightseeing transfers, the journey itself becomes part of the experience, allowing you to sit back and enjoy the ride while someone else takes the wheel. On certain stretches, transfers take place without stops along the way.
