A hot air balloon safari in Amboseli National Park is something quite special. Where else can you enjoy the view of elephants and the world’s highest free-standing mountain at the same time – while floating in a hot air balloon?

We probably don’t need to say much more. It has to be said that the wind conditions in Amboseli are particularly favourable for ballooning, and that even on a cloudy morning, the departure will often go ahead anyway, because the sun is shining above the clouds – and you can catch a glimpse of Kilimanjaro, which few people get to experience.

Departure is before sunrise, and after the flight there is, of course, a champagne brunch, just as you’d expect on a proper hot air balloon safari!
