It’s possible to purchase a wide range of excursions, depending on what you and your family fancy doing, be it visiting Robben Island, going whale watching – or perhaps you’re active types who want to hike to the top of Table Mountain itself?
The tour rounds off in style in Mauritius. You can spend the days as you choose, but here, too, you have the option of a host of excursions if you’re not yet done with experiences.
Today you will depart by plane from your chosen airport to Johannesburg with connecting flight(s) along the way.
On your arrival in Johannesburg, you will be picked up from the airport and driven to the camp where you will be staying for the next four nights. The afternoon can be enjoyed at the camp, jumping in the pool and just relaxing after the flight.
You will leave the lodge early in the morning and you will not be back until late in the day. What the day has in store for you is impossible to say – and that’s what makes safari so fascinating! The feeling of being there where the animals live is absolutely overwhelming. Impalas, buffaloes, giraffes and elephants emerge from the bush and disappear again. There are storks, eagles and vultures, crocodiles, hippos – and lions. There is no guarantee of seeing the Big 5, but the chances are really high. You might like to bring a pair of binoculars with you from home, so you can help keep an eye out. In the middle of the day, there is a lunch break at one of the many camp sites found in the park. There is a small café here where you can buy food and drinks and maybe a snack or two.
At the end of the day, you will return to the camp and enjoy a good dinner.
These two days are yours to do with as you wish.

Even without excursions, however, there is plenty to do in Cape Town. The museums, sights, restaurants, shops, buildings and markets are enough for a whole holiday in themselves. Enjoy!

But in reality, this is the best goodbye you can take with you from this fascinating city. And ahead of you lies a luxurious beach adventure with blue sea and white sand. You fly from Cape Town (with connecting flight(s)) to Mauritius. You are driven to the hotel, where you will spend the next five nights.
The days in Mauritius are yours to do as you please. The hotel can help with excursions if you wish – or you can spend the days on the beach or by the pool.
