Bioluminescence is a special natural phenomenon which is only found in a few places in the world. It is a natural process in which living organisms in the water produce and emit light due to chemical reactions that occur inside the organism. The light emitted is usually blue, creating a surreal glow in the waves. This unique phenomenon can only be experienced at night, and is most impressive around a new moon, when there is the least light disturbance.

It’s a good idea to wear flip-flops and shorts so that you can walk along the water’s edge and experience the phenomenon up close.

As this tour depends on the sea state and weather etc., you will be informed of the exact time the day before the tour takes place.
