If you dream of staying in a hip hotel close to one of the world’s most famous beaches, you should choose to upgrade to QT at Bondi Beach.
The hotel is located on a side street to Campbell Parade, which you just have to cross before you’re in the middle of Bondi Beach – but without staying right in the middle of the busiest street in the neighbourhood. All around you are bars, cafés, restaurants and shops – and, of course, the beach!
The hotel has 69 rooms in various categories. Naturally, all rooms have air conditioning, a flatscreen TV, a Nespresso machine, a minibar and free Wi-Fi. The rooms are large and spacious, and despite the bright colours and creative vibe found in the reception, the rooms, where the emphasis is on comfort, are decorated in more muted colours.
There is no restaurant at the hotel, but they do offer room service. There’s no pool here either, but as Bondi Beach is a 5-minute walk from the hotel, that might also be a bit silly…
If you want to head into the city, you can either take the bus (approx. 30-40 minutes) or you can take the train from Bondi Junction – a 15-20-minute ride to the centre. Alternatively, you can borrow a bike from the hotel and cycle the scenic route through the suburbs Rose Bay, Double Bay, Elizabeth Bay and Potts Point until you reach the Botanic Garden.
